Frequently Asked Questions
My DUPR Rating is Inaccurate? I’m in the Wrong Bracket!
If you already have a DUPR numerical rating, but feel your DUPR rating is inflated, or if the Reliability Score is low, we will consider appeals for bracket adjustment. Please write to info@pb4allpickleball.com including screenshots showing your current DUPR and recent tournament history, and we will consider such appeals on a case-by-case basis, with the Tournament Director’s decision being final.
New to DUPR?
You must create a DUPR account in order to register and play in our Tournaments, but you do NOT need to have already established a numerical rating before registering.
If you have just created a DUPR account and still show an ‘NR’ rating, you CAN self-rate (at an appropriate level) in the tournament software (PickleballTournaments.com) upon registration and thus select the correct bracket for your skill level.
Please note: we will be checking that players are entering the right bracket.
Your USAP Membership MUST be Champion Level:
Please note: Your USAP Membership must be at the Champion level in order to play in any sanctioned tournament. This is NOT just a cost for this one tournament: it will allow you to play in any APP event, any USAP event, and in the sanctioned events that we, and others, present in the Bay Area and beyond. You should also be aware that USAP offers considerable Strategic Partner Discounts (hotels, car rentals, restaurants, etc.) that comfortably pay for the $60 annual Champion level free.
Is Your USAP Membership Set to Expire? How to Fix the Renewal Timing Issue:
We've had a few players run into problems with their USA Pickleball membership being up for renewal during the registration period, or before the end of either of our upcoming tournaments. Here's how to resolve the issues:
FIRST OPTION:
You could choose to upgrade to a 3-year membership (which will minimize encountering this issue any time your renewal overlaps with a tournament registration period). Here's how:
1. log into USA Pickleball: https://usapickleball.org/membership/
2. input your email address and password [verify with code if needed]
3. click on athlete (left hand menu)
4. click on your membership name "card"
5. look for the 3 dots on the right side to open up a menu
6. if needed, navigate to the Individual membership tab in order to see the 3 dots on the right side
7. click on the 3 dots, and choose change membership type
8. upgrade to a 3 year membership.
SECOND OPTION:
If you’re set up for Auto-Renewal, please follow these steps:
You will need to go through the renewal process to extend your membership as opposed to the auto renewal process.
Once you log into your account, choose "View Profile," then "Individual Membership."
From that page, click on the three dots on the far right of your membership, and cancel your autorenewal.
Then if you click on your membership again, it will give you the option to "Renew."
After that if you follow the prompts and checkout, you will be able to extend your membership.

How DoesPickleballTournaments.com Know that I am a USAP Champion Level Member?

at top right: click on your name, and select My Profile |
then click on Edit Profile |
then click the Association Memberships tab |
then Add Membership, then select USA Pickleball from the drop-down list, after which you’ll be prompted to put your Member Number in
(it may take 1-2 days to synch if you have just joined USA Pickleball)[Some players may receive a display error indicating their USAP membership has expired.
